Also present at the grand opening (pictured right): City Councilman Cecil Thomas, a neighbor and well-known College Hill volunteer Amos Robinson.

| Thieves Target Catalytic Converters
Cincinnati Police District 5 warns that thieves stole some catalytic converters from cars in Mt. Airy and College Hill earlier this week.
According to Officer Jason Pechiney, the College Hill streets hit were Lantana, Cedar and Groesbeck.
"Thieves can get under a vehicle, cut these off, and be gone in minutes," says Officer Pechiney. "Please pass the word around to watch for suspicious persons and activities in your neighborhoods."
Keep an eye out for this and any other suspicious activity, and call 911 when necessary. Catalytic converters are tempting because they contain platinum and easy to sell for scrap.

Aiken University High School Recognized
Aiken University High School is being recognized for their
community work program with Llanfair Retirement Community. To support students in their transition from school to work, Aiken University
High School and Llanfair Retirement Community developed a
community work program.
12th graders from Aiken work with supervisors at Llanfair

laundry, supply room and grounds upkeep. One student is now employed by
Llanfair as a result of her participation in the community work

The eNewsletter is published every week or so by the volunteers listed below. Our purpose is to help make College Hill an even better place to live, play and do business by publishing a broad spectrum of news for and about College Hill, with an emphasis on stories of College Hill people working together to improve our community.
The eNewsletter is independently prepared and published by neighborhood volunteers. It is not affiliated with the College Hill Forum Community Council.
Opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of any College Hill or other organization--or even of the editor. The inclusion of an article is not necessarily an endorsement. The fact that something isn't in the eNewsletter is not necessarily a lack of endorsement--it's most likely because no one told us about it.
eNewsletter photos are often edited to remove extraneous material.
Send us news that you think would be interesting to your College Hill neighbors--and we'll very likely publish it. Email to eNewsletter@CollegeHillOH.net.
