The eNewsletter is published every week or two by the volunteers listed below. Our purpose is to help make College Hill an even better place to live, play and do business by publishing a broad spectrum of news for and about College Hill, with an emphasis on stories of College Hill people working together to improve our community.

Opinions expressed in the eNewsletter are not necessarily those of any College Hill or other organization--or even of the editor. The inclusion of an article is not necessarily an endorsement. The fact that something isn't in the eNewsletter is not necessarily a lack of endorsement--it's most likely because no one told us about it.

Send us interesting tidbits--anything that you think would be interesting to your College Hill neighbors-- and we'll very likely publish them.

Snow Postpones Tonight's CHCURC Annual Meeting
CHCURC Dinner

Snow and rumors of snow have caused rescheduling of tonight's College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation Annual Dinner meeting.

The CHCURC Annual Dinner Meeting will now be held on Wednesday, February 28, at Twin Towers in the Gulden Community Center. Registration and social hour starts at 6:00 pm, dinner is at 6:30 pm and the Annual Meeting starts at 7:15 pm.

Those not wishing to partake in the dinner are welcome free of charge to attend the meeting and presentations.

Dinner is $20 per person. Reservations for dinner need to be made and paid for by February 21. Call Karen Hartman or Robin Cook at 513-681-5648 or simply send your $20 check to CHCURC Annual Dinner, c/o Hartman and Erhmantraut, 5836 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224.

If you had reservations for tonight, please call Karen or Robin and let them know your intentions with respect to the February 28 meeting.

At this year’s meeting CHCURC will recognize past presidents and celebrate the future by showcasing development and projects to be accomplished in 2007.

College Hill resident and noted development visionary, Dale McGirr, will speak on College Hill and the Linden Park Project within the context of what is happening in other Cincinnati neighborhoods regarding development. Dale will take up the slogan "Turns Out the City of the Future is the Old Neighborhood" that he used when he addressed CHCURC’s Annual Dinner in 2004. Expect to be re-inspired by Dale’s riveting and enthusiastic presentation "Building on a Foundation."
