McAuley Freshmen Awarded Scholarships |
|
The Aubrey Rose Foundation recently awarded 20 scholarships
of $500 each to eighth grade students who were going on to
Catholic high schools. Five of those 20 scholarships were
awarded to incoming McAuley High School freshmen: Jamie
Berling, Tracy Minich, Jessica Morgan, Katie Newsom and Sarah
Weyer. They were honored at a dessert reception on June 6 at
Receptions in Western Hills.
The Aubrey Rose Foundation was founded by Jerry and Nancy

around them.

Meet the Farmers at the Farm Market |
|
How did Debbie Conley come to be one of the farmers
represented at the Thursday Farm Market in College Hill?
Debbie responds, "As long as I can remember my dad had a
garden. He grew his own fruits for jams and jellies. My mom
loved flowers."
Carrying on the tradition, Debbie raises corn, tomatoes,
green beans and peppers, including cherry balms ("hotter than
jalapenos") on 10 acres in Clermont County. She also grows
apples, blackberries and peaches and bakes specialty breads.
Look for her stand at the College Hill Farm Market
Thursdays from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m.
