Three C’s Kindergarten Off to a Great Start
|
|
Jenny Smith reports that the Three C’s Nursery School’s
first year with a kindergarten has been awesome so far. Our
teacher, Lisa Lapp-Draginoff, comes to us with wonderful
teaching credentials. But just as important, she is able to
creatively express her walk with God as she is teaching. Mrs.
Lapp- Draginoff loves to incorporate drama and music into her
lessons and is also teaching the class a bit of German.
With a parent helper each day to assist the teacher, the
children are making quick progress. By the second week of
school, they were putting on “plays” and journaling their
ideas. By the third week of school, even those children who
were still learning the alphabet when they entered
kindergarten were able to read a simple book.

maintaining sexual purity and maintaining emotional, physical
and spiritual purity.

the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm.

The Streetscape—Mike Battoclette Looks Back on a Completed
Project |
|
The Streetscape has been in place almost long enough for us
to begin to take it for granted. Before we forget that “The
Avenue” didn’t always look this good, take a moment to review
CHCURC Streetscape committee chair Mike Battoclette’s
observations about what was involved.
