Darin Hudson
has been playing music in Cincinnati since he came here 10 years ago
to attend college, but did not begin actively pursuing gigs in the
city until 2007. After a wonderful response by patrons of The
Blind Lemon in Mt. Adams and other local venues, Darin spent a
few hours with Grammy-nominee Ric Hordinski in January 2008 to
record his first project - Darin Hudson or: How I Learned to
Stop Worrying and Love the Songs. Multi-Grammy winner
Richard Dodd mastered the record, finishing what Darin would call “a
life-long dream come true.” In June of 2008, the album became a
reality, and Darin is now ready to be a part of the Cincinnati music
scene. “I think making a contribution to what’s happening in this
town musically is wonderfully exciting.”

Greg and Craig return!
Greg and Craig
bill themselves as “oldies playing oldies.” In fact, they are
young-at-heart 50-something musicians who grew up with the Beatles,
Motown, British Invasion, and country tunes from the 60's and 70's.
Some of these tunes are kept alive through G and C's
acoustic-guitar-with-percussion renditions. Greg performed in rock
bands in the Oxford and Cincy area during his Miami University
days. He and Craig met through their church's Praise Band. They’ll
give you’re their take on Elvis, Johnny Cash, Marvin Gaye, Hank
Williams and many more favorites.

Eric Loy – Solo Guitar and Harp Guitar
Since the initial impetus to take up the guitar, which was
witnessing The Beatles’ performance on The Ed Sullivan Show in Feb
1964, Eric Loy has continued to explore and coerce music of diverse
parameters from rock to jazz to classical to new age. The
culmination has distilled into an eclectic blend which Loy delivers
with humor and panache as either a solo fingerstyle guitarist /
HarpGuitarist, or with his progressive jazz/rock trio called
Hipperoos. On the stage, Eric Loy has opened shows for such guitar
legends as Leo Kottke, Preston Reed, Adrian Legg, Jorma Kaukonen and
others. In the teaching field, Mr. Loy has been a full-time guitar
pedagogue for the last three decades. Several CD albums and DVD’s
of original compositions have been recorded and all are available
from
www.ericloy.com
website.

Ryan Adcock returns! Ryan’s a native Cincinnatian who been making quite a name for
himself across the nation and in several foreign countries! He’s a
favorite of ours and we couldn’t be happier that he’s finally taken
a short break from touring and running marathons and is here to
entertain you! He’s been voted “Best Rock Vocalist” and “Best
Singer-Songwriter” in Cincinnati. Whether you call it folk-rock,
indi-rock or rockin’ folk, Ryan pounds it out and tells a story –
funny, sad or soulful – his music hits the emotions, and creates the
excitement as only the great ones do. In 2002, Ryan made an
impressive debut on Mitch Albom’s nationally syndicated radio show,
playing to nearly 2.5 million listeners. He likes small coffee
shops, too! And he’s great in any venue. His debut CD, “From Silence
and Joy,” is a best-seller.

Tupelo Honey returns!
The group got its start a few years ago when Heather and Katie
played with Andrew Ross of Ft. Thomas. Andrew moved on and Heather
and Katie decided to keep the band together by adding three new
musicians. They got their name from the name of a cafe they love in
Asheville, North Carolina. Now cd's later they have become a
musical mainstay in the area and have been awarded the CEA music
award. Heather Turner and Katie Wefer on guitar and vocals create
what people have described as an Indigo Girl type feel with a Dixie
Chick twist. But with a very unique sound all their own.

Greg
Harper: Folk and
Craic
We’re lucky to have
Greg – as regular customer AND performer! Greg’s concert will
feature original music, traditional /contemporary acoustic music,
including songs by: Robt. Burns, Leonard Cohen, Dylan, Egge,
Foster, Kinks, Kristofferson, Lanois, Lightfoot, Old Blind Dogs,
Prine, Reader, Cat Stevens, Simon and Garfunkel, Jerry Jeff Walker
and much more. His choice of
songs, whether ancient, original or recently released, has always
been about human connection in the most universal sense. His
background as a museum director and practicing archaeologist just
reinforces his interest in finding the most poignant Celtic ballads
and weave them in with the modern-day mainstays of the folk
tradition. And, if the feeling’s right, he won’t hesitate to throw
in a bit of Cole Porter or Dean Martin as well. Greg has performed
music for coffeehouses, pubs and galleries in Greater Cincinnati
and Cape Cod since 1975.
